The Liaoning Provincial Center For Financial Studies was approved by the provincial government in May 2007. It is located in Liaoning University and shares the same research team with the Liaoning University Center for Financial Studies. In February 2022, the Institute of Environment and Economics Liaoning is established, which is composed of personnel from the Liaoning University Center for Financial Studies and teachers studying environmental economics.

The main responsibility of Liaoning Provincial Center For Financial Studies is undertaking research work regarding financial theories and their applications. Meanwhile we also provide consulting services regarding financial reform, financial safety and efficient ways to implement financial policies in Liaoning province.

At present, the Liaoning Provincial Center For Financial Studies is comprehensively conducting research projects, talent cultivation, and consulting service work. Specifically, our work is includes developing regional financial development reports, financial planning, financial consulting and enterprise training, etc.
